Bladen County North Carolina

e-Recording

The Bladen County Register of Deeds offer businesses and lending institutions e-recording.

We process documents 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on the days the office is open. We do not process documents on weekends or County holidays. You may submit documents at any time.

While most documents (with the exception of maps) can be submitted for recording, there are special requirements with all deeds. For a deed to be accepted for e-recording, it will be routed to our tax office. The deed must have a tax certificate page with it or the deed must have a statement on the first page: "This instrument prepared by:____________, a licensed North Carolina attorney. Delinquent taxes, if any, to be paid by the closing attorney to the county tax collector upon disbursement of closing proceeds."

To ensure your eRecordings are processed, be sure to submit them before our 4:30 pm cut-off time. Please do not hold documents till the end of the day to be recorded.

Please contact one of our vendors below if you are interested in submitting documents electronically to Bladen County or would like more information.
